Always a Good Meal!!
by AztecTan at Citysearch
I just wanted to make a note to all that I have been to Ambrosia several times and never once had a bad meal or service. There are times that service is slow or confusing because of the busy time of night, but I was shocked to read a review from a patron that mentioned Stuck up service. There are all different types of restaurant atmospheres to choose from. If you want a burger...go to Dorsey's!! But Ambrosia to me is a place to enjoy unique & different foods. I actually beg my husband to go there whenever we go out to eat without our children. (And note, my kids don't wear make-up). I recommend Ambrosia's to everyone I know and tell my friends to dress nice because the dining is geared towards an upscale experience!!!
- Pros: Ambience, Drinks, & Food
- Cons: None

I completely enjoyed my experience at Ambrosia's. That I will return and in fact recommend to others. The staff was incredible and very efficient with the service they provide.
My experience with the the night club well ... I am glad that they are doing something to better the dress code. Most of the people that were there looked like they were just about to go to bed then out of the blue decided to go to a night club ... in a t-shirt and pajama pants. And I am referring to the girls. Have a little self conservation. Put on some decent clothes when you leave the house, or , just stay in !!!
From all the restaurants & nightlclubs that I have ever been to I have never seen such nasty dressed people. That was a drag. I am not suggesting only the pretty people be let in. But definiety can tell the difference from someone who took the time to get dress to someone who should just party at home.
Care about you appearence, realize who you are representing ...YOU !!! And if you don't care than don't grip when someone doesn't care to invite you in an atmosphere that calls for more than a t-shirt and PJ pants.
Care about yourself
- Pros: Great atmpsphere
- Cons: the after hour club, better dress code needed. And quality music
Stuck Up.

I agree everybody there was snotty. My boyfriend asked if he could order a burger off the lunch menu for dinner and was answered with a snotty remark, they didnt flinch when we left. I thought it was a restaurants job to cater to the customers not be stuck up to them. I dont know how this resturant does good buisness. I guess it is the ppl from the suburbs that allow their seven year old daughters to wear make-up that come in and like to go out to eat someplace "nice".
- Pros: None
- Cons: Rude to customers. Place filled with "trendy" smoke?
