Fantastic for Brides!. NYBride was the last store I went to when shopping, and it's where I found "the dress." Nancy has been the absolute best to work with and all the women there are so helpful. I have always been treated with respect when I am in there and they always have time to answer my questions. My dress came in WAY before it was supposed to, and their alterations department rocks! Capri is a sewing wizard! I don't know why people were complaining about taking their shoes off....that's standard anywhere you go. And would you wnat dirt or salt all over your bridal gown? The store is sooo full with everything. They recently added a Mother of the Bride section. My mom was disappointed because they didn't have this when she was looking, otherwise she would have ordered from here too. And she's out of state! By far, this has been the best experience in the whole wedding planning. And I reward myself with gelato from Geddes Bakery (right next door) everytime I go there. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone, they do great work!

be very careful!. I have shopped in many boutique and glamorous shops - I went to NY Bride because of their high service rating and was taken care of by the manager of the shop. After choosing 4 gowns and not liking the color, I saw this gorgeous gown on the floor and asked the color. She told me it was Latte, a cream, gold chiffon blend (there would be an up charge for this, of course) which would look wonderful on me in August with my coloring and to get gold shoes to wear with it. She took my measurements and said it would be delivered to me by May 30th - plenty of time for my son's wedding.

What arrived last week was the ugliest color I have ever seen, the gown fits, the jacket is too small. After many phone conversations (I even e mailed them the color found on other models) they absolutely refuse to correct their mistake and have had the audacity to mail this dress back to me.

I have contacted the manufacturer and found another shop which is going to try to correct this mistake with the manufacturer and get me the corrected gown - BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT THE FINE PRINT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Best experience by far. Although the entrance and outside of the building were a little daunting, NY Bride was by far the best experience that I have ever had! The girls there were so helpful and wonderful to be around while looking for my wedding dress. I have been to at least 5 shops before this, and I'm proud to say that NY Bride was the one shop where I found, "my dress." Of course you have to take of your shoes, that's custom with any bridal shop so that you don't dirty the dresses and there are also going to be alteration fees, which is also custom... but the staff was extremely friendly and you give the okay before any sizes are ordered. I would highly recommend this bridal shop, it definitely made my day!!!

Best Bridal Shop I have ever been in!. I Love New York Bride! It is the best experience that I could have ever asked for! Everytime I am there, I am treated with such great customer service. The women there work so hard to please everyone. Anyone that complains about the service (like the people below) should re-evaluate the stores that you can compare them with. They rock!! Their dresses are beautiful and the staff is amazing!

Don't waste you time trying to find the entrance!. The customer service was the worst. The attendant would not wait on us until we removed our shoes so we just asked for a book, her response was not until you remove your shoes. My mother in law has problems with her leg and it is hard for her to walk around without the support of her shoes. The girl would not even give us a book to look at. If it is such a big deal to take your shoes off cause of the dirt tracked in or whatever then don;t make people walk down a hill to the back of the store. Or if you are such the upscale boutique you think you are then provide paper covers to go over their shoes. There are much better bridal shops around with much better selection.

**If you keep driving north there is one to your left called Rebekah's, friendly and fast.

Beware customer service and measurements. I ordered a flower girl dress as part of a large wedding party. It came in and it was the wrong size by quite a lot. They would not be accountable at all. They want me to pay a significant amount of money (almost half what the dress cost!) when they were the ones who measured my daughter! And, most of the bridesmaids required alterations on their dresses for an additional fee even though they measured everyone without any comment that all the dresses would all require alterations. Beware, I would strongly suggest.
