Great place to go to be with friends!. Grimaldi's by far makes me feel at home, great food, great atmosphere, great times! Homemade dishes to die for! My girlfriends and i love going there the staff is great. They really make you feel like a guest in their house. Rita is always pleasant and hands on. I love the Pasta and Peas and Utica Greens get it every time. Dishes are all home made and fresh. Save room for desserts key lime pie and creme brulee is the best i've ever had. If you don't make a trip here you don't know what your missing!

cannot think of one good thing to say. We waited for our table, others came in while we were ignored, then when server offered to seat another couple, they pointed out to her we were their first. Rita was rude, saying we "hadn't waited that long" even though she seated people who came in after us first. We had a terrible waitress, never told us the specials, refilled our drinks, checked on us. Our food was delayed so long that a couple who came in after us (with a different server) were seated, ordered, ate, and left before our entree ever showed up. If you want mediocre food and staff with attitude, then by all means, this is the place for you, but if you want good food and friendly service, GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere!. Stopping at Grimaldi's was an overall excellent experience! There is a bar/lounge area with booths that serve the full menu. My favorite menu item is the Pork Osso Buco served with risotto...yum! Service is excellent and staff is friendly. Also, don't leave without trying one of the homemade desserts. I opted for the cocout cream pie!

totally disapointed. New Years Eve, and Our wedding anniversary..reservations at 6:30p..we were seated on time...but main course came at 8:10pm and was stone cold. We were told by our waiter that a party of 23 was ahead of us and made eveything delayed. I can understand that wait..but can't understand our cold, tastless food. My steak and potatoes couldn't even melt a butter paddy. My husband's steak and lobster was cold, and when asked for butter for his lovster, he was given a soup cup of oil/butter, normally used to season a griddle, and it was also cold. I took my filet migion home in a soup container given by our waiter.

My fault was listening to my husband that didn't want to say anything, becuase it was busy...So we paid our bill, gave a generous tip and went home disapointed. Will I ever go there again? Nope, and if friends ask me about it.....I have nothing good to say....

Worst Service Ever. It doesn't even deserve 1 star! My boyfriend and I went there for Valentine's Day. He had called on Friday to make the reservation. When we got there they didn't have our reservation on the list but the hostess said she would add us anyways. My sister's sister in law also made reservations, completely separate from us and when they got there they didn't have their reservation either! They were a party of 6 and the hostess said they would add them also. That party of 6 got sat before my boyfriend and I! Then no server came to either of our tables for a while. Matt was our server and he was great but my sister's server was just ok. My mashed potatoes were cold and my "honey glazed carrots" were green beans! How do you run out of the special? When Rita was approached about the service and the hair in the food she just said "well did you tell anyone?" Duh we are telling you now! She never appologized or anything! We will never go there again!

Best Bolognese sauce within 250 miles.. My first time at Grimaldi's. I met Rita who graciously accepted my request for a "dry" Rigatoni Bolognese dish which was prepared flawlessly. I have been looking for ten years for a decent local Italian restaurant that doesn't overpower their Italian dishes with excessive ingredients such as garlic and parsley. While I haven't experienced other dishes yet, Grimaldi's will become a regular on my restaurant list. I have been to Italy several times and can compare their Bolognese dish to those in Italy, which is very rare indeed. I will go back and try the Osso Buco, Veal Milanese and have asked Rita to search out a "Parpadelle con Porcini" which she says she will have her chef follow up on as soon as he can.

Great atmosphere and service It is where the Orangemen go to eat. The SU Class of 66 with Dave Bing were eating there the night I went. Great Food, the red sauce on the seafood appetizer was exceptional with a good kick. Veal milanese was on a bed of greens and cooked perfectly. House salad was good. Long time family has been in the business for years.
