I am in my 70’s with the usual age-related health issues. I believed it would be beneficial to take care of my facial “fuzz.” My greatest concern was finding someone with extensive experience. Research using the telephone book yellow pages led me to Merle Trogman. In Merle I found not only great experience but outstanding competence. Merle is extremely thorough. Her explanations are interesting, compassionate and professional. Mrs. Trogman is one of the most honest individuals I have had the pleasure to know.

I was in for the first time I visited Accredited Electrolysis Studio! The office and woman that greeted me was so friendly and inviting. The procedure was fully explained to me and she offered to answer any questions that I had. Merle always accommodates my very, very hectic schedule and is always friendly and professional. As a woman with facial hair I was always embarrassed to seek help in removing it. I plucked, I creamed, tried everything under the sun and here I am just a few short months later no longer embarrassed to be seen in the sunshine. Merle has a wonderful way of making you feel so welcome and it seems like the most natural experience ever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MERLE TO ANY ONE WHO NEEDS THIS SERVICE SHE IS THE BEST!

One of the most difficult things for women who suffer from excess unwanted hair to do is to talk about it. We spend so much time trying to cover our flaws and it is a source of great embarrassment for many. For most of my life, it is a subject that has been off limits. I took care of it in the only way I knew how (which Merle explained, had only made it worse) and I assumed this was the way it would always be in my life. In my mid forties, I decided to try and tackle some of the issues I've struggled with in my life. Excess weight and excess unwanted hair were at the top of my list of things I knew I could do something about. I spoke to my doctor about it, and she recommended that I schedule a consultation with Merle Trogman. I cannot stress enough how important it is to find an electrologist who is not only professional, but also caring. Electrolysis is not a quick fix. It takes time... sometimes a long time and many sessions to complete treatment. I have been seeing Merle for 7 months and she is an absolute joy to work with. I see her three times a week for an hour each time so I am more than qualified to give an opinion and I am so happy to do it.

Merle Trogman is as wonderful as it gets in this business. She takes a difficult emotional situation and turns it around into something good. She is professional but far more than that, she is kind and understanding of the emotional toll this issue has on her clients and she is extremely sensitive to their feelings and their desire for privacy. Her office is comfortable, sterile, and cheerful. She herself, is encouraging, extremely well educated in endocrinology and electrolysis and she works very hard from morning til night, making sure she keeps her clients on a regular schedule so they get the best treatment possible.

I am so grateful to have found her. She is slowly and methodically eradicating one of the demons I have fought since my teenage years and she's doing it with a grace and sensitivity you don't often find in the world today. I highly recommend her and wish that anyone suffering from unwanted hair could be as blessed by her as I am. If you're thinking about it, don't hesitate. She knows her stuff and she works with efficiency and warmth. You won't find a kinder or more skilled Electrologist in Central New York.

I don’t know why I waited so long to start electrolysis. At first I was concerned about the sensation, the cost and the time element. My treatments are very comfortable. The cost is a real bargain compared to shaving & waxing the rest of my life! The time is a 15 minute appointment. Merle’s skill, precision and professional manner makes my session fly by! My results are excellent. I am SOOOOO HAPPY with my choice of electrolysis with Merle!

I have waited a long time to make a very important decision. I became exhausted with my constant habit of plucking my chin. My Google search led me directly to Merle. The consult was interesting and professional. Merle’s caring personality was an additional bonus. Immediately I noticed less hair growing. My skin is no longer red or irritated. What a relief! My chin is looking normal again.

I certainly don’t miss my morning and evening habit of tweezing. I am extremely satisfied!

A major problem I’ve been avoiding is my side-burn hair. I’ve been waxing my hair for years. My best girlfriend had been bragging about having electrolysis on her upper lip and eyebrows. She suggested that I call for an appointment with Merle My experience with electrolysis has been extremely rewarding. With each treatment I’m seeing more positive results. I have to share my fantastic experience. Living with constant stubble coming through my chin has been painfully embarrassing. Merle explained that electrolysis would permanently remove my hair. It was very difficult to stop tweezing my chin every night.

But my results are incredible. My chin looks and feels wonderful. Merle enjoys achieving her client’s expectations. Her precision and technical skills are superb.

My mom and I have been extremely pleased with our electrolysis results. During the consultation we felt very comfortable. She explained what caused excessive unwanted hair growth. We didn’t realize that plucking our hairs made them stronger. My mom and I discussed everything we were concerned about. Merle answered all of our questions in a very knowledgeable and relaxed way. We each had a free 15 minute treatment. The sensation was very mild. We have had a wonderful experience with Merle’s ability as our electrologist. We highly recommend her. It’s amazing how much better you will feel about yourself!
