Flame-broiled burgers--especially the trademarked Whopper--are royalty at this popular fast-food chain..
In Short
Founded in 1954, this ultracasual eatery (often with a drive-through) made its name with hamburgers cooked over flames and finished with the customer's choice of toppings. The signature sandwich has always been the Whopper, a quarter-pound burger with tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles and onions. The menu also features fish fillets and spicy chicken sandwiches, garden salads with fire-grilled shrimp and chicken, the breakfast "Croissan'wich," crispy onion rings and even veggie burgers.
Bad, slow service.
Drive through is more like park and wait. Orders are rarely right. Inside doesn't get much better service. You have to repeat your orders over and over because the counter girls are always engrossed in other conversations elsewhere. There are usually a ton of girls running around up front but "one" person doing the cooking!!!! I can see this on an off night but not on a friday night! When orders are ready if you aren't there to ask if that's my order it just sits there. They sometimes mumble something and "toss" it to the side. They gave me my shakes first thing, by the time I got my order it was exactly 20 mins. I asked for it to be replaced and that took another 5 mins to just pick up the melted ones and 6 mins to get the new ones.
Now MacDonnalds have less people and I'm out the door in under 5 mins. This is same day, a Friday at dinner time. Go to Wendys or MacDonnalds if you want "fast food" Pass on the Fulton Burger King unless you have a lot of time to waste.
