Not bad, but not impressive.
Pros; Nice atmosphere, nice selection of pub games and big screen TVs. Bartenders nice enough, decent selection of craft beers, and snack food is decent.
Cons; Beer was quite flat which I could only guess is because the kegs had been tapped for a while. Even with some swirling in the glass it was nearly impossible to agitate a head.
Big pet peeve was that the bartenders simply refilled my beer in the same glass I had been using, without as much as a rinse. Not a big deal if I'm drinking the same beer, but for someone that loves and respects good beer, a definite no no.
Lastly(and this was a fluke due to a short power outage), my card was double charged. However, the staff were not familiar enough with the computer system to solve the problem without calling in the owner from up the street.
Best local pub!.
Best spot to go for a drink! They have a lot of microbrews on tap. Eat the peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. Play the jukebox or just converse with the awesome bartenders (not a bad looking one in the place!!)
The wings are awesome and the offer deals on SU games and football games. They have a small bar menu for food, as well. They have the largest projector screen in Syracuse for games. It's a great local place in walking distance to Onondaga Lake Parkway. They have an outdoor sitting area. Check out their facebook page for some good photos.
