My first trip into Hayden Jewelers was when my future mother-in-law brought me in to buy the engagement ring I eventually proposed to my girlfriend with. Twenty years later, I am STILL shopping there and it's the only place I will ever buy jewelry from.

I constantly recommend them to friends of mine, and of course, my own kids buy their jewelry there as well. When I walk in, we are never treated like mere customers, but rather long time friends.

This past December I was laid up in the hospital during the Christmas season. Unable to Christmas shop for my wife, I called Hayden's looking for a particular piece and spoke with Caroline. She told me they didn't have one in stock, but they offered to order one for me. I knew that based on the date, there wasn't enough time for it to arrive before Christmas.

Disappointed with myself that I had waited too late to give my wife what I knew she deserved, I settled for "gift choice #2". Christmas morning, I found myself wandering around the hospital in a wheelchair. On my journeys, I saw a man and a little girl walking towards me. They looked familiar and it took me a few seconds to realize that it was Mark Hayden and his daughter. We said hi and shook hands and he handed me a package. It was gift wrapped in Hayden's paper. I asked him what it was, and he simply said, "it's what you ordered". Knowing I hadn't ordered anything he told me to give my wife a Merry Christmas. Needless to say i was shocked.

It turns out Mark had gone WELL above and beyond what any other merchant would do for a customer. He DEFINITELY gave me and my wife a Christmas we will NEVER forget.

That's just ONE example of the many reasons why I will never shop anywhere else except Hayden's.
