Went with some of my co-workers. Food was excellent and the service was top notch with a very friendly and courteous wait staff. Highly recommend for lunch and any other occasion. I will be returning there in the future.

Just had lunch and very satisfied with my order. The service was very quick and plesant, my order of classic hot pastrami was excellent.

If you are looking for a place to have great meal and good time, Julie's is the place to visit.

I visited Julies place for lunch with three of my co-workers. The service was excellent, top notch from the quick seating to the attentive waitress filling our water glasses and giving us warm bread and water refills from the maitre d',

I ordered the Pasta Pie which came with a house salad with the several selections of dressing of which I went with the creamy blue. The presentation of the salad looked like something Chef Ramsey would prepare with long slices of cucumber and just the right amount of tomatoes, the creamy blue and a gracious amount of blue cheese chunks that blended well with the arugula leaves.

The Pasta Pie came on a bed of red sauce and looked amazing, the top was cooked golden brown while the rest was a moist creamy delight. It was perfectly spiced with no excess sodium when mixed with the marinara sauce.

We all had a very satisfying lunch which took less than an hour from the time we left the office in downtown syracuse to when we returned.

A great meal and atmoshpere for lunch.

such a disappointment. We went here to celebrate my husband's birthday and were SO disappointed. No one in the kitchen seems to be tasting the food. After a basket of absolutely tasteless white bread and an iceberg lettuce salad (iceberg lettuce for these prices!) which nothing remotely interested on it, we had the evening's special Irish Beef Tips, and the Seafood Puttanesca. The Beef Tips were gray and unappetizing, and with salt and a generous amount of pepper the dish was edible if nothing else. The Seafood Puttanesca was worse -- don't they know what a puttanesca is? This dish tasted of something -- olives and nothing else. The seafood, huge shrimp and scallops, was unfortunately overcooked and overpowered by the olive taste -- no spice, no taste of capers (though we could see them) tomato sauce with a faint taste of can. This dish cost $28.00! My daughter has the appetizer bacon-wrapped shrimp and was happier than we were. We will not return.

Go for the Steak Diane!. Our family will visit here on special occasions as we have always found the food and service to meet all our expectations. A manhatten from the bar and a tableside prepared dish will last until the next special visit!

We love Julie's - Can't undertand the other reviews!!!. My husband and I have been to Julie's many times over the past several years and it has ALWAYS been great. The atmosphere, the cleanliness, the noise level, lighting, service - all of it. If the other people writing the review about their seating did not like their seat - they should have asked to be moved! The only thing I will say is, more recently the serving sizes have gotten smaller. But the food, every entree we have ever gotten (I get Steak Diane, my husband tries something new each time) has been top notch. Julie's is my favorite restaurant in Syracuse, NY.

You have work to do Julie!. Saturday evening 3/1/08...The portions were very small for the money and the seating near the host was unsatisfactory given that I made a reservation six days earlier. For a $20 pasta plate, the portion should be double what it was...What a decline in quality and service from two years ago when this place was top notch. The waitress was terrific on her own and my tip reflected such. Next time I will take my date to Justin's Grill or Pascal's...

Don't Go!!!!!!!!!!. We went for dinner and the food is heavy, tasteless, and hugely overpriced. The service was horrible. Don't go here. Save your money and go someplace else.
