I discovered Best & Co more than seven years ago when I relocated to Syracuse. Having lived in large cities like Boston and New York for most of my adult life, I was really worried about finding the right hair salon. Best & Co did not disappoint and I have been getting my hair done at this establishment ever since. I have always been treated with total respect and have been completely satisfied with my color and cuts. Best & Co is a keeper…. a great place that offers many excellent products and services.

RUDE, Unprofessional people work there. I had a very bad experience.It doesn't take much to be polite and smile but obviously the people that work there find it extremely difficult. I don't usually write reviews but had to for this Terrible salon.

Extraordinarily rude and unprofessional. My experience there was so unnerving that it brought me to writing this, my first review ever.

It began when I walked in the door with my little, 19 year old sister, who was there to have her hair done for her senior dance, something simple but pretty.

The woman with sort blond hair at the counter was exceptionally rude, with an air of ...I'm not sure what to call it...entitlement or something of that nature. She was unprofessional and unwelcoming to say the least.

Our stylist, the "master' stylist, seemed to be nice at first however, after taking a mere 15-20 minutes to curl my sister's hair, literally that was all that was done to it (she came in with it already washed and straightened) and pinning back her bangs with two bobby pins, she claimed that we owed the salon $75.00 because she considered it to be an "up-do".

I can assure you there was nothing "up" about that "do" and she did a pretty bad job at that.

I do not own a business yet however, I'm relatively sure ripping off a 19 year old kid and doing it with such audacity and attitude is not only unbecoming, it is a sure way to in fact, lose your business - which is exactly what they have done.

Needless to say, I will NEVER return to that salon, and I can assure you neither my family nor friends will either.

I must also say that this review could not be published without rating it and there was not an option fo "no/negative stars", which would have been my response...

simply the best. They have a friendly receptionist who is extremely helpful, the staff seems to be very educated,the salon is clean, the exposed wood and brick makes for a very cool enviornment, their prices are very reasonable, and their work is very consistant.

Monsters they are in there. Well, I go in and already Staci the receptionist was a monster.. drove 40 miles for that treatment.. the day before talked to her about booking me in and she was real rude and snotty with me so I said something to her and she then got loud with me.. she still told me to come in and why I did I don't know.. She had 7 colors on her head, I think the dye jobs got in her brain.. Anyway.... The owner walked up to me and said I cant be seen because I was rude to the receptionist that does not even do anything besides chase people away from there by the reviews I see ahead of mine.. Drove all that way and Staci knew I was taking a cab.. they just wanted to be MONSTERS! I paid $75 for nothing in a cab!! They did not show me any remorse, she was a cold hearted snake! I hear she is a reborn christian but with that attitude she is the DEVIL! I should have known better but heard it was a good place for color.. Please if you like respect and friendly than this place is not for you! They want contracts for bridal parties and all that.. money hungry monsters they are.. they make you feel like NOTHING! I understand why all the chaires were empty in there when I got there...

Relaxing Facial. Went for a 1 hour facial with Nina and it was wonderful! It wasn't just my face, but included my arms and some relaxing massage as well. She seemed very knowledgeable. Well worth the price and I will try to go back again. She didn't push any products and only suggested one thing when I asked. She recommended the daily O2 optimizing creme for day and/or night, and I really like it.

poor parking, unruley staff, unorganized, palyland not a work place. A friend told me about this spa so I thought I would give it a try. First of all, the hrs were horrible to accomidate an appointment. The the parking was unbelievable no where to park. I noticed while I was suppost to be getting my hair colored and cut that the girls that work there also like to color and cut and style their hair or each others while they r working. Where is management? Whos is in charge? This place was like a play yard for children without supervision. I was so shocked by what a know it all my stylist thought she was that I had to go back to my original salon to get what I really wanted. To this company they cater to themselves and they have attitute that really needs to be checked at the door. I have a thought how put the girls who don't have clients clean, dust, vaccum, sweep or maybe not be there if they don't wanna work. This place gave me a whole new attitute about keeping your stylist you have and staying true to them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. RUN!!

confused staff , horrible parking and ?s about site. I went to the salon to get a french manicure and for all the money I spent the nail polishh was old. I had to go elsewhere to get a professional job done. The manicuist was rude, snotty and clearly in a rush to hang out withh her friends or just go home. She seemed so bored and unhappy with her job that my nail job suffered due to her lack of effert in doing her job. Also I see a lot of comments about a stylist named Stacey but wonder why they are not including her on the site. Why not include someone that works as part of your company and I I also noticed that company lost the Channel 5 account to another spa and now I know why. Over all experience the place is crappy and over priced. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I did have a gift certificate but now I just shot it away because I do not ever plan on going back. Please save your money and go elsewhere. At least go to a compnay that really cares about their clients, their work, and how their attitude effects everyone!!
