I have been and referred many friends to uptown image electrolysis…WHAT A BIG MISTAKE THAT WAS!!! Not only are they not professional, they are very unskilled at what they do…My hairs are ten times worse then they ever were…I can’t believe the state of NY lets anyone open up a business like this….Please BEWARE of this!!! So much money wasted on Uptown Image…I am so glad I found Stefania…She is great and professional.

GLAD TO HAVE JOANNE AT UPTOWN ELECTROLYSIS BACK!. I am now back with Joanne at Uptown Electrolysis for GOOD! I'm so happy!! and Joanne there is happy that i'm back too!

I should have never left joanne @uptowne electrolysis in the first place! I regretted that stupid decision. i do NOT and will NEVER recommend electro by stefania NOR merle t at accredited electrolysis studio. pushy bully agressive attitudes they have. also electrolysis by joanne lipton - she takes forever to call you back! im so glad i left all 3 of these people! HORRAY FOR UPTOWN IMAGE ELECTROLYSIS!!!

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO SEE JOANNE AT UPTOWNE IMAGE ELECTROLYSIS AND HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH HER PROFESSIONAL RESULTS. THE FIRST TREATMENT I DID GET A LITTLE RED BECAUSE I HAVE VERY SENSITIVE SKIN, AND OBVIOUSLY MY SKIN WAS NOT USED TO ELECTROLYSIS, BUT THAT WENT AWAY VERY SOON AND I'M SO GLAD I GAVE IT ANOTHER TRY BECAUSE THEN I HAD NO PROBLEMS BECAUSE MY SKIN GOT USED TO IT. THE RESULTS ARE FANTASTIC. JOANNE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EXPLAINED TO ME WHY I DID GET SOME REDNESS (AND SHE HAD EXPLAINED THAT ALSO IN OUR CONSULTATION THAT I HAD WITH HER BEFORE I STARTED) AND I HAVE REFERRED MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS AND THEY ARE ALL VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED ALSO. SHE IS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND FLEXIBLE WITH MY WORK AND LIFE SCHEDULE.

I have been coming for treatments for months. My chin hair has become darker, prickly and ingrown . Recently I checked out your site on line. I guess just a little bit too late. I noticed a lot of negative reviews. Most of the electrologists belong to The American Electrolysis Association and The New York Electrolysis Association.

Why don't you? Maybe you aren't skilled enough. You certainly are not a professional in your field!

I WON’T BE COMING BACK FOR TREATMENT. I DON’T KNOW HOW YOU STAY IN BUSINESS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANOTHER ELECTROLOGIST!

HORRIBLE SKIN REACTION. I needed my upper lip hair removed. My consultation was free and short. She wanted to start my electrolysis immediately. I told her I was concerned that my skin was extremely sensitive. When she started I asked her to lower the heat because it hurt. My lip felt very warm and tingling, when I left the office. The sensation did not go away. The next morning my lip was swollen and my skin looked burned. I called them to tell them about my reaction. Their response was “that’s normal, it takes about a week to heal”. They even tried to confirm my next appointment! I was astounded with their attitude, I cancelled. I don’t know how they stay in business. Their lack of skill and concern for their clients is unbelievable!

I went to Uptown Image Electrolysis weekly from March 2008 through July 2008. The office was clean, and provided a spacial waiting room. Parking was small and at times not available (The building also had a dental practice at the time).

Why I left... Joanne liked to reuse old needles which isn't good practice. I was accidentally pricked in places that I wasn't having treated (Pricked in the arm by the probe when having face done). There were countless blow outs, and facial scabs after treatments. Thankfully no scars or pitting.
