Tips for Coleman's Irish Pub

Voted one of America's best Irish Pubs, irish landmark, real irish pub. Coleman's is settled on the well known Tippary Hill in Syracuse NY. It's a irish section and this bar doesn't shy from that by any means. I've been to irish pubs all over the country and none match what Coleman's offers as far as ambience, decor, and people come. Leprachaun phone booth, a leprachaun only door and enough stained glass to fill 3 churches stand out in this bar before you even walk through the door. It's located right next to the HISTORIC stone throwers green light landmark that has people from Ireland visiting because of its heritage. It is the only street light in America which has the green light on top of the red. Coleman's offers most irish beers to be desired such as Smithwicks.Guiness and others..many good local micro-brews as well. Great happy hour specials. Amazing authentic irish food and more.. Come to Colemans and you will walk out Irish.

Most Irish Pub. I have yet to eat at Coleman's, but it is the most Irish pub I have been to in Syracuse to date. The decor is almost stunning with its dark wood decor and coffered ceilings. My wife got a kick out of the leprechaun door and phone booth outside the front door. Coleman's also has good happy hour specials--like the bucket of 5 Labatt's. The bartender was smartly dressed, knowledgeable, and friendly, and there was a good view of the Yankee's massacre of the Red Sox on the flat screens above the bar. Decent selection of beers includes some Canadians, Guinness and Smithwick's, a couple of locals, and the usual domestics. My only regret is that I did not see chips and curry on the menu.
