Great Hair Design. I was walking down Marshall Street one day and saw Tony Christopher's sign. I decided to make an appointment because I felt so depressed with the person who was cutting my hair; it never looked right. I realized immediately that Tony knew excellent techniques for cutting hair and that he really is an artist. For the first time in my life, people--even strangers--are coming up to me and telling me that they love my hair cut and want to know who is cutting it. I happily give them Tony's name and location.

Tony has an amazing sense of humor and he genuinely knows how to style my hair.. For years I searched for a hair stylist who wasn't scissor happy and then, I finally found Tony. He has made me feel like I'm beautiful. He is honest, funny, and most importantly, a skilled hair specialist who knows the unique features of my wild and unruly, wavy mop. Tony takes the time to style, explain and share hair care tips. The salon is cozy and comfortable and Tony makes me feel like I'm a guest in his home. He caters to me and knows how to make me look beautiful. He tells amazingly funny stories and best of all he has a heart of gold. If you want more than just a haircut, Tony's the guy for you. I won't ever go to another hair stylist as long as he's around.

I have been a long time customer and he is still the best hair cutter. I have been a customer of tony christophers for a long time, and will continue being a customer there, his work is excellent and very precision he stands behind his work and has the training and experience to show for it. the last person who wrote her review seems like she did not even visit the salon, It is a salon and barber shop and a very pleasant atmosphere. Not quite sure what the fuss is about.... Went here for the first time for a cut by Tony, after reading all of the glowing reviews here. Not that impressed, overall. Tony essentially works out of a barber shop, with absolutely no ambience whatsoever. That could be overlooked if he was indeed the master he is portrayed to be based on reviews here. I didn't see it. After a very short "consultation" he did one of the worst things a stylist can do - just give a very basic, generic cut that showed he didn't really listen at all. Yes, this is a very cheap place for downtown Syracuse (he's right by SU), but the atmosphere and cut basically showed he could be cutting anywhere.

Best Cut In Syracuse. Both my daughter and I get out hair done by Tony. I have never found a salon that has such good prices and great quality work. If you walk half a block down the street from Tony Christophers Salon and compare prices, they are double. Couldn't tell you why, but I'm Tony's customer for life.

Wish Tony would move to DC. I was lucky enough to have Tony cut and highlight my hair for 2 years. I have since moved away and am desperately trying to find an adequate replacement, but frankly there isn't any. Tony listens to what you want, and gives you just that. You looking good is the best advertisement he can have, so there's no way he'd let you be unsatisfied. On top of all that, he's just the best to be around. I can't wait until I'm back in town so my hair will look beautiful again!

great cut. i was a long time customer of hair collections and when they closed and left the area I needed to find a new salon and co worker told me about tony it was upstairs but what a nice salon and i got a great cut he has been there for over 27 years. i didnt know the salon was there. but i got one of the best cuts there. i highly recomend him. also he has training from different hair schools.

BEST ON THE HILL. I work on campus and have tried the many salons and tony is got to be the best i really like his work and i get many compliments on my hair and highlights I recommend him highly!
