Great Thai Food. This is a really great Thai restaurant. Everything here tastes great and portions are well sized. Prices are moderate, and well worth every penny. Any Thai lover will be very happy eating here.…
Not much to it. I like Thai food - and I was told it was authentic. Well, maybe I wasn't ready for what I ate - I was not impressed. The duck in a coconut smelled like urine - nasty. The other food was very tasty and was presented well, but the experience wasn't there. Maybe there could be some paint on the walls, or dimmer lighting or the bar could be moved ... something need to be changed to make it more apealing. I went back for a second chance and was more disappointed the second time. Sorry - I don't see it as a place that people have to try.…
Terrible taste.
I am new in this area and was craving for Thai food. I went to this place after reading the reviews below.
I am so DISAPPOINTED and I just could not beleive HOW COULD THIS PLACE GOT GOOD REVIEWS???????????????????????
The taste of the food is beyond just bad. I could not fish 1/3 of my meal. The shrip cake teast like pork, the rice noddle is over cooked, clustered together in chunks and it teasted like leftovers...........
Would not recommend this place to anybody I know!…
Best Thai food ever..
Oh how I miss this place. While attending SU, I went to this place almost every week (to eat there and to pick up the food) since found out the place.
The atmosphere is not that great but who cares when the food is soooooo good. The staff are always friendly. The place can be very busy on weekends. Food is awesome. Be aware, don't order stuff extra spicy. I am Korean and used to spicy red peppers, but not at this restaurant. Medium to spciy would do me fine. After graduation, I moved back to Philadelphia where food is superb, except I still have not found any Thai place as half good as Erawan. My favorite is yumtum soup, fried fish with yummy sauce, and ground chicken (wish I?d remember the menu #?s). One time, while visiting Rochester, I took a detour to this place for dinner. And y husband also agrees with me that it's one of the best Thai food he ever had.
I think this is my favorite restaurant in the world.…
There are no bad Thai dishes, only bad choices..
Thai food can be tricky, and it can vary from place to place so never assume it'll taste the way you think. I love the food at erawan and haven't found another restaurant that compares. The food is
great and simple. I never feel sick like I do at some other places. Ask the server for a recomendation if you're not sure what to order. I like
#41 , med. spicey. and don't forget to try the tapioca pudding with little corn bits. good luck…
