What users are saying:
This doctor is the worst doctor in the syracuse area, highly not recommended, IN IT FOR THE $$$$$$$$$$
by drsucks
All she wants is your money or should I say your insurance money. She wants to see you every couple weeks...for what???? the money maybe???? Any other Dr. is once every 3 months if that. She is very unprofessional, you ask for medication that you need and she assumes that you have a addicition problem. Her only worry is about one thing and that is MONEY, not your care. I wouldn't even send my dog to her!!! She is in it for the money and not to make sure that you are taken care of and comfortable like another doctor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR YOUR INSURANCE MONEY, SHE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE STAFF IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL!
- Pros: PARKING
- Cons: NOT CONCERNED ABOOUT YOUR CARE ONLY HER $$$$$
Great Care - Did you go to Compassionate Family Medicine?
by JoseHRodriguez
It has been a while since my family went to this place. Don't ever recall seeing a dr octavio. staff just
didn't seem to get things right. The wait times were long. with 4 NP it sounds like you don't see
much of the dr. glad we are not there.
- Pros: Spanish
- Cons: Long wait
NOTHING BUT GREAT CARE
by PRGURL76
I believe the CFM has come a long way. Ever since that nasty ignorant dr octavio left you can tell that everything and everyone is different. Like all offices you wait but when your seen you get great care form the moment you go in the room til when you leave. Dr triana is the only do there but he has 4 Np's which are great especially Dana Karash. I dont mind the wait, but i have to say it is better than going to the SCHC where you always see someone different and your treated like a nobody. If it wasnt for Dr T and all his staff i dont know where i my family, friends and even myself would be. I thing that comes to mind that is missed when i go to that office is dr triana's medical assistant Liz. when it came to the spanish community she made such a difference.
im a very satified patient
- Pros: spanish, education with patient
Avoid this place if you can
by mcortez1
I waited hours to be seen like everyone else in waiting area. Waiting area packed with people who also
wait forever to be seen. Staff is incompitent. Surprised this place has not closed or been closed. Put on hold
when you call. Cant seem to get perscriptions done unless you constently call them. I am going to find a new practice.
- Pros: none woth mentioning
- Cons: terribly run clinic. long wait times (many hours)
Long waits...you too.
by miguelmv
I know what you went thru. I went there a few times this year and had to wait
3-4 hours ech time. The staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Someone
in the waiting room said that the staff are the doctors family memeber so I wouldn't count
on it getting better. I go to the West Side Clinic again..
- Pros: spanish
- Cons: long wait
They need new office help
by mezandria
I just want to say first off that Dr. Triana is a wonderful doctor. He has seen my daughter on many occasions and he is really great with little kids. My daughter was always afraid of doctors but he always has her laughing before she leaves. But honestly, it's not worth the trouble that I've had to go through to take her to see him. First, when you go to make the appointment, you will be put on hold right away about 95% of the time. I think I may have called once when they actually answered the phone. Oftentimes they're rude and in a hurry, and I've even been hung up upon when they're in too much of a hurry and I'm trying to explain what I need. And then, when you go for the appointment, you have to wait for hours. I've had to leave before on a scheduled appointment when I was waiting for over three hours and still hadn't been seen. And that's commonplace for them. Even worse was the times that they've messed up the insurance. I got charged over 200 dollars for an appointment even though it was covered by insurance because they didn't enter it right. They had me call the insurance company to fix a problem once even though fidelis said that they were supposed to call. The office help just don't know what they're doing and they're understaffed. I am working on finding a different doctor now, I would suggest not to bother with office unless you have a good reason to go there. They do all speak spanish so I would assume that if you speak spanish, it might be worth it.
- Pros: they speak spanish
- Cons: its not worth the hassle
pretty darn great!

cfm was a place that i thought i was going to never come back to but when i found out that denise octaviani and yes IM NOT using DR. had left this practice i decided to give it a try again. I have never found a better place. Dr Triana and his new staff have made this practice such a wonderful where you get the care you as the patient deserve. There is a new female NP which is great. Once again now that the "scum-bag" denise octaivani that place is so much better. I did visit denise at her new practice and i will never go back she is really the dumbest human being on this planet its incredible. I m really greatful to dr triana and Mr ed vera and stacey ball peds np,now dana karash. I do not care what other people have written about this practice all i have to say is give it a chance and believe me you will agree. My whole family is seen here the kids, husband, mother, and even uncles. I m telling you this is what syracuse always needed. FYI and if you do not have insurance they will work with you to help you out with free samples and whatever you need. If anyone from cfm reads this thank you so much my family is truly greatful

I used to be a patient at Compasionate Family Mediceine. They've got some real nasty people working there.
When my doctor left they told me she had stopped practicing medicine. That's when they didn't hang up the phone on me. Then I saw an ad for Dr Octavian new practice at 1223 North Salina Street. 703-3263.
Just visit both locations and you will see for yourself who operates the classy organization.
- Pros: Don't have to go there any more.
- Cons: I waited multiple hours in the waiting room on multiple visits. Doctor spent 5 minutes with me.
Not So Much!

Denise is not a doctor that I would ever reccomend. She is VERY unprofesional! Unfortunatly the only thing that she seems to do well is write for narcotics, even that is a challenge for her!! Use caution if you plan on going to see her. I am not sure that she really is a graduate of medical school, certainly she should know how the human body works if she did. Sorry, it's the truth. She must have been absent on the day that she was supposed to take the vow "do no harm." I hope that her practice is closed very soon.
- Pros: none that I could come up with
- Cons: let me count the ways

For all those searching for my favorite doctor, she has moved again, but this time she found
a wonderful new location for her solo practice. And her staff is so friendly and professional compared
to her last place. Glad she's outta there.
